2 years. July 23, 2018

I know that this is the church being led by Jesus Christ. It’s because it was restored by Him through the prophet Joseph Smith. We can know this by reading the Book of Mormon and actually praying about it. That’s how I’ve learned that this is true. If you haven’t done this do it. Learn. I also know that Jesus Christ is exactly who He said He was and is today. He is the Messiah, the Savior and Redeemer of the world. The Savior of you.

The mission was the best experience of my life.

Monsoon Season. July 16, 2018

This week I walked in crocs in hot and humid weather for like a mile and a half. I felt homeless really. I have a lot of empathy for them not having a car, ever.

Haboob. July 9, 2018

Hi Mom,

Sorry I haven’t written yet, it’s been kinda crazy¡ In other news, there’s a haboob outside¡!!

Heyy everyone! June 11, 2018

This has been an awesome week! We are working towards Donna’s baptism. It will be so awesome! When we first met her she was super not down to get baptized but reading the Book of Mormon changed that. She’s the best old cat lady ever!

It’s also getting super hot! Biking around in a buck and a dime is a bit much haha! (110°) but we bike missionaries say the hotter it is outside the more blessings we get.

We also got to go and eat dinner with our president. We had a challenge to contact 1000 people as a zone in two weeks. It was awesome!

Other than that just trying to keep moving. There’s a lot to do here but not enough time.

Have a good week everyone!

Happy Mother’s Day. May 14, 2018

I’m not sure what to say, I feel like I just talked to my family about everything already.

A short recap on the investigators. Bryan is doing awesome! I have him write out the lesson on paper to keep him attentive. He’s younger and has a hard time focusing. He’s doing really good now.

We haven’t met with misty in a second because she’s at a zoo out of state. Which is awesome because it’s the zoo.

Our multidistrict meeting was this week and it was awesome! I love this zone!

Here’s our zone

It's been a while. May 8, 2018

Transfers came, I’m going to stay with Elder Belnap. You might not know him very well because I haven’t sent a group email in a while. I promise I’m doing ok.

The zone here is awesome! We have gotten a lot done. A little update on people that I’ve been teaching. Misty has been doing awesome! She’s reading and praying. I told her she’s officially on the list of older sisters I never had.

We stopped by a member the other day and we ran into a family who has just moved in and gone through a lot. The 2nd youngest asked how he could find an answer that the Book of Mormon of true. He’s now going to be baptized the end of this month.

Things otherwise have been awesome. See you all next week!!

Super short. April 9, 2018

This week we got an awesome new investigator!! Her name is Sister Cook! We tracted into her and she’s super down. We also ran into some super chill former investigators. Her main concern is that she has a strange blood type and wants to know what that has to do with the Bible. A bit odd but it’ll be good.

Other than that we’ve just been biking and there’s not much that’s too new. Conference was super amazing! I think it’s cool that we all have access to feel the spirit and to have it guide us. Revelation is key. If you don’t feel like you have an answer to your prayers I want you to know you can. It’s part of God’s plan for us to be able to ask him for that guidance.

Peace out.

Bikes. April 2, 2018

I am settling in the new area all good. I am in full bike now. This has been a crazy week full of empty tires and empty of full tires. Working on it tho haha!! There was also a conference which was spiritually awesome! Since we were biking we were running all over to get to lessons and watch all four sessions but we did it! I feel so accomplished!

The people here are awesome! And they cook real good too. That’s a plus because that was a big worry getting transferred from Williams because they cook real real good! Also on bike, I find I’m a lot more motivated to eat more because I feel like I’m doing something at all hours of the day.

My new companion Elder Belnap is the freaking coolest bro ever! He’s a year younger in mission months but he’s got a good hold of it so far. He likes magic the gathering and Dungeons and Dragons so we get along well. He was also a dank meme lord back home so from that you know he’s pretty awesome!

Look back on general conference. The spirit was with those leaders. It was God’s word they spoke.

More to report next week. For now getting adjusted to full bike and the Phoenix heat again.

Elder Gray

1) after General conference the ward had subs. We got the leftovers. This is what you do when you’re on full bike but #SandwichIsLife

2) just leaving Williams and taking a picture with our investigators kids
